Texas Leads All Other States in Job Creation for the Month of June and for the Past 12 Months (June 2010 to June 2011)

The Texas jobs engine continues to fire on all cylinders, capitalizing on the pro-growth environment fostered under Gov. Perry's leadership.

In June, 32,000 net new jobs were created in Texas according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics--more than any other state. Confirming the fact that this isn't a one-month anomaly, the Bureau also notes that from June 2010 to June 2011, Texas led all other states by leaps and bounds, adding 220,000 net new jobs.

The Texas success story is undeniable. The constant drumbeat of praise for Texas' job-creation climate under Gov. Perry consistently affirms the need for low taxes, controlled spending, predictable regulations, and a fair legal climate. Read more of the recent accolades for the Texas economy:

Midnight fundraising deadline--please help today!

UPDATE: Thanks to all who supported Governor Perry through generous contributions to help spread his message to voters across Texas! Stay tuned to see the results of your tireless efforts as we report our fundraising totals. Although the August 23rd finance reporting deadline has passed, the campaign will still need your support through Election Day. Please consider a small donation to help secure Texas' future.

The campaign is in overdrive these final weeks, and we need your help now more than ever. Gov. Perry is running television spots statewide to highlight his pro-growth record that has Texas leading the nation in economic recovery. September 23rd (11:59 PM) marks a vital fundraising deadline for the campaign, and your gift of $10, $25, $50, or $100 will help ensure a full-throttle finish for Gov. Perry.

Principled, conservative leadership has placed Texas on the path of economic success and individual freedom. Texas has created 850,000 jobs since 2001—far more than all the other states combined! Gov. Perry has cut taxes for small businesses, balanced budgets, and set aside $8 billion in the Rainy Day Fund.

But liberal trial lawyer Bill White wants a darker path for Texas. His only in-depth policy initiatives so far call for higher taxes and more regulations! As mayor of Houston, Bill White spent more than the city took in every single year, and he has refused to rule out raising taxes to balance the state budget next year.
