Gov. Perry Visits Corpus Christi and Calls on Federal Government to Reimburse Texas

Gov. Rick Perry visited Corpus Christi today and called on the federal government to reimburse the state of Texas for costs associated with detaining criminals in Texas jails who are undocumented immigrants. Perry announced he will send a letter to U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano asking the federal government to begin reimbursing the state for such costs.
